Signs you have a bee and wasp problem

Honey bees (shehad ki makhi) and wasps (bhirr) often settle on Karachi balconies, water tanks, trees, AC units and building ledges, especially in spring and before the monsoon. A small swarm can become a large hive within weeks.

  • A cluster of bees hanging from a branch, balcony grill or ledge (a swarm)
  • A honeycomb hive under a sunshade, water tank, parapet or tree
  • Bees entering and leaving a gap in a wall, roof or AC box
  • Papery or mud wasp nests under eaves, window frames or in unused rooms
  • Frequent stings near a doorway, playground or garden
  • Bees gathering around a water tank or dripping pipe

Our bee and wasp treatment process

  1. 01

    Photo assessment on WhatsApp

Send a photo and the location of the hive or nest. We tell you whether it is honey bees or wasps, how urgent it is and what equipment is needed.

  2. 02

    Site visit and plan

We plan the removal around access, height and the people nearby, and advise you to keep windows closed and people away during the work.

  3. 03

    Removal or relocation

Honey bee colonies are removed with the comb and relocated where possible. Wasp nests are treated and removed by technicians in protective gear.

  4. 04

    Clean-up and prevention

Comb, wax and honey residue are cleaned away — they attract new swarms — and the spot is treated and sealed so bees do not return to it.

  5. 05

    Follow-up

If returning foragers or a new swarm appear in the following days, message us and we recheck.

Bees or wasps? Why it matters

Honey bees are valuable pollinators, and a calm, well-planned relocation is usually possible. Wasps are more aggressive around their nests and are removed rather than relocated.

What not to do

Most injuries happen when people try to remove a hive themselves:

  • Do not burn the hive — it spreads angry bees, damages property and is a fire risk on balconies.
  • Do not spray it with a household aerosol — it provokes the colony without destroying it.
  • Do not throw water or stones at a nest.
  • Keep children, pets and anyone allergic indoors until the job is done.

If someone is stung many times, or has breathing difficulty, swelling of the face or throat, or dizziness, go to a hospital emergency department immediately.

Schools, offices and factories can add wasp and bee checks to a commercial pest control contract so nests are caught early.

Pests covered

  • Honey bee swarms and hives
  • Paper wasps
  • Mud-dauber wasps
  • Hornets

Safety for children, pets and food areas

  • Removal is done by technicians in full protective gear; bystanders stay indoors with windows closed.
  • Honey bees are relocated where possible instead of being destroyed.
  • Comb and honey residue are cleaned away so they do not attract new swarms or pests.
  • Any treatment of the nest site is applied per label and kept away from food and water tanks.
  • Tell us in advance if anyone nearby has a bee or wasp sting allergy.

How much does bee hive & wasp removal cost in Karachi?

Bee hive and wasp nest removal is priced by hive size, height and access (for example a high ledge or inside a wall), and whether relocation is possible. Send a photo on WhatsApp for a quick quote; the final price is confirmed on site.
